Mandatory reconsideration failed

The report from my wca was full of things I didn't say , or things they said they asked me but didn't and the things that was left out. So I did a mandatory reconsideration, and I have just had it back, and I dont think the person who did the reconsideration read why I wanted it . They just repeated what the report said . The best part is they said my daughter helps me , I dont even have children.

I'm really sorry about your reconsideration result @snowwhite89. How frustrating to hear that they mentioned a daughter that doesn't exist too! It's not the easiest system to navigate at the best of times, and you're definitely not alone in having had this kind of experience. Unfortunately, quite a few mandatory reconsiderations come back with the same result as the original decision. But many people find that their tribunal results are much better and that the tribunal panels are more understanding. I hope that's the case for you if you decide to take it further. There's a page about appealing benefits results here in case you'd like to read it: It can be really helpful to speak to a benefits adviser if you're planning to go to tribunal. They can often help you build a strong case and push for a better result. If that's something you're interested in there's a database to search for a local adviser on the Turn2Us website here: 0

@snowwhite89This is helpful to me as I have just had a mandatory reconsideration refused for my son they moved his enhanced mobility to standard . I'm in the process of having support from citizen advice they have asked me to write a diary of his walking and when he has pain (which is all the time ) .Hopefully you will get the support that you need . 0
