    Try these links:

I'd also suggest asking your kids school for signposting, if they are that age.

Was your Housing Officer any help?

Large rugs could be a temporary solution although I appreciate those aren't cheap either.

Have you tried local flooring suppliers to ask about off cuts, end of line, end of roll etc to reduce the cost?

Someone might be giving away a washing machine on local community Facebook group, Freecycle or Freegle.

Is using a local launderette an option? Over winter I use a dry cleaner who machine wash, dry and fold. Once a month as I don't have the drying space for all bedding (without racks permanently in my small bathroom!)

Any friends or family that you can use their machine? Or a public machine (something I hadn't heard of until recently) https://www.thelaundryrevolution.co.uk/

Hi @maggie1982 and a warm welcome to the community from me!

I see Kimi has already provided some great links and information so I won't add much more today but there is also Family Fund that you may eligible for if any of your children are disabled, they can provide white goods😊

It's lovely to have you in the community and I hope you enjoy your time here!
