Thank you so very much @Santosha12 for your positive energy towards my dilemma regarding getting help for Ms Fire and her babies π₯
About an hour after me posting my original message on here a lovely lady with a BIG heart who runs a local cat rescue got in touch with me after a friend of mine had reached out to her and was here within the hour to assess the situationβ¦.
When she got here she could clearly see they needed rescuing so with cat treats and patience we managed to get mum first safely in a cage (mum was so protective over her babies and was in attack mode straight away so needed to wear gloves to be able to get her from the neck) then went back for the babies! They were all taken to a foster carer who cleaned them up as they were so muddy from being in a plant pot and also helped clean the eye infections some of the kittens had. Mum then went straight back to nursing them! π»
Everything went so smoothly and im just so happy to know that these babies will now be safe and taken care of, with love, food and warm shelter which is what they deserve!
Will post more pictures of them when they are settled
P.s Originally we thought there was only 3 kittens but to our amazement there was 4β¦all ginger π€

I'm loving the pictures of pets.
I've recently started watching Mythbusters from the very beginning, I have a lot of nostalgia for this show, I'm planning on watching every single episode. As I go along any episodes I'm missing I will buy on DVD or Blu Ray, or if hasn't been released on DVD, Blu Ray or is very hard to find I'll see if I can find it on Youtube and download it onto a USB stick to watch on my TV downstairs.

Oh that is absolutely wonderful to hear @Kiki23, thank you SO much for updating. They've every chance of really thriving now thanks to you, your friend, and your neighbours - these animal rescuers and fosterers do an amazing job too! I'm very relived, it's just heartwarming π.

Thanks so much @Kiki23 . Oh my goodness how lovely they all are. The mother, looking on wide-eyed/watchful of her babies, with concern in her eyes, is just so sweet. I hope the little ones' eye infection heals quickly. Thank you for taking the time to share these photos of them. Very precious.

Hi @Kiki23 thank you for sharing these lovely pictures. The mother cat has certainly looked after her kittens. I hope they all get good homes when they are ready.
Take care.

That's not what the mice and rabbits say about him. π π

This is my new favourite hot sauce at the moment, I love putting it on chicken wings while they're cooking, and when it mixes with the chicken juices in the baking dish I like to mix sweetcorn into it, and then once everything is done I'll pour some of the sweetcorn/chicken juices/hot sauce mixture over some chips.

Oh wow @Ross1975 that's a blast from the past! That sauce was always on my dads dinner table when I visited him when he lived in Miami and he kept buying it when he moved to Argentina. Such a lovely sauce, a decent heat, but it also tastes of something. π

Last summer I had a pigeon shock, the pair that were my regular visitors had been sneaking into my kitchen & had built a nest behind a trolley & box I had there. When I realised, it was too late & I hadβ¦
By law, you can't destroy the nest & I wouldn't anyway, as I'm an animal lover. So I ended up having the delight of witnessing the hidden bit of feral pigeons. This is mum on the nestβ¦
I felt quite honoured they felt safe enough to nest there. So, for the first times in my life, I saw squabs growβ¦
And last week, a kiddy ran up to me to say there was a pigeon that couldn't fly. I asked him to gently catch it. He did & I popped it in Hattie's dog bag, where it was quite happy. Got indoors & saw it was a racing pigeon. I looked up on the racing pigeon association how to report it. The owner contacted me an hour later, he was in Swansea & the pigeon had been released in Ramsgate. He was a tad surprised when he asked where I was & I said in Hampshire. The poor thing was very thin & only had a little water & some very crunched up cornflakes that I had to go buy. It was too late to try & get to town for birdfood & the racing site said they were ok. Anyway & this shocked me, he would drive down next day to pick it up. β₯οΈ He arrived & wasn't hopeful for the condition she was in, but had a fellow fancier that had all sorts of potions & he would see how it went. I asked him to let me know & off they went back to Swansea, apparently, her brother was waiting at home. π He contacted me 5 days later to say thank you for rescuing her & reporting & that sadly, she had died. π Here she isβ¦

Well you might regret saying that! π

The sad looking chap in the last photo has been taken in by my neighbour, so he's got a part time home and the others look healthy and well fed, so I'm sure they're being looked after by the locals ππΌ
