How has the online community helped me?

To be brutally honest it hasn't. I am suffering from mental health issues and mobility issues due to spinal problems. I have to use a wheelchair to get about because I can barely stand let alone walk. I am totally alone and very isolated. I have no family or friends to ask for help. What can an online community do that will improve my circumstances?

The purpose of an online community forum is mainly to provide a dedicated space for people with shared interests and concerns to connect, communicate, and exchange information. They serve as a hub for discussions, Q&A, and share ideas and interests, etc.
I don't think an online community forum is supposed to bring practical solutions to improve the quality of life of its individual members, as this demands resources. This is rather the role of a physical organisation, where people can pop in, meet staff members, have a caseworker, and discuss their individual matters.
Sincerely, I feel for you, by the way, and wish I had solutions to alleviate your problems.
