hi, sorry this is long winded but back in 2020 the company I work for had a big reorganisation and I was asked to step up as an Agee temporarily for a few months. This ended up being for almost 4 years full time It was a stressful tie for everyone. I had to apply for my own job during this time. And once the changes went through was asked to go back to my substantive post part time. Only my office based job is done for a nudge of years was completely changed for office to also field based collecting samples, lots of driving and walking. I was placed back into the team I managed (not ideal) and the team leader returned for maternity to an age her newly formed team ,me. It was clear from the get go she didn’t like me for whatever reason. Anyway they pushed ahead with getting me out doing field work. The stress and pressure was immense. Even though it took her a year to sort me a vehicle and once she did it kept breaking down. Ado not much work for the team they already had let alone me. But I did everything asked but they still forced me into competencies at a time I also felt unwell and discovered I had diabetes as eventually found out I had osteoarthritis in my hip and two damaged discs in my back. But they still pushed ahead with competencies. I enquired about a bulging and harassment as it was making me ill, Even though I always did my best to do everything asked of me. It seemed to make the situation worse! This dragged on for years and after several occasions Heath referrals and changes to roles nothing seemed to work out for one reason or another, several dofferent managers during this time and no pay rises either. Move forward to 2025 and it still dragging on even when I thought it was all done with I found my last pay rise I again didn’t get because of this still ongoing. I’m currently off sick and struggling with a number of factors and they are pressuring me by phoning and wanting teasing meeting. So had one with my latest manager. He kept on about how they’ve done all they can and mentioned I’ll health retirement if I have another occ health referral. I’m only 48 and he wants me to log on each week and have a meeting each Tuesday or Wednesday and expect a call from occ health…. All this at a time I just cannot deal with it all again. It’s been years of stress, trying to change job roles with in the company and being forced into roles they said would be fine but turn out not to be suitable at all! I’m exhausted from it all but have no idea where I stand. He said my sick pay would stop shortly too and I cannot afford financially to not earn as I have two dependents. I’m also now going through menopause which is horrific and really not helping my situation. There are a number of other factors too. Can anyone offer any advice please of where I stand and what I can do? I’ve worked for this company for 22 years. Thanks

I would recommend speaking to ACAS who can advise you of your rights, and the proper processes your employer needs to follow.
