Dancing with and against the DWP's tune

Essentially, 'Yeah, we're aware you're appealing us rejecting your eligibility for any level of disability benefits, but until the appeal tells us otherwise, we're essentially gonna pretend all's hunky-dory, not a state of limbo which doesn't even touch on your personal life...We don't have diary space for 2 weeks ahead (in which we both know circumstances won't have changed to our satisfaction) - so let's do 1 week ahead rather than 3!'

Hi @Dawtrey and welcome to the community. Can you tell us more about what's happening and what benefits you're applying for?
I receive PIP now but had to go to tribunal as they scored me 0 on my assessments. It's a horrible process to go through.

Hi Rachel, I'm trying to finish the remaining evidence I'm submitting for the tribunal appealing the outcome of my WCA (0 too, undermarking myself in the first place); I believe I'm entitled to some degree of limited capability and personal independence support (if not the enhanced rate for both).

Have you applied for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) as well as Universal Credit (UC)? My experience with applying for PIP was that the tribunal was the 'best' part of the process as I felt heard and most of the panel there were very kind. I don't think they appreciate the mental toll it takes on people when we're waiting for the outcome.

Sorry, I should've mentioned I'm currently on UC!
