Intervertebral discs.

I have several discs in my spine which are damaged, most of which cause stenosis. Two in particular are causing huge problems and have left me using a wheelchair. The disc between L4 & L5 for all intense and purposes does not exists anymore. Also a disc in my neck is pressing on my spinal cord causing all sorts of problems including causing loss of feeling in my hands.
I will be seeing the neurosurgical team tomorrow at my local hospital to discuss the disc in my neck. It may lead to surgery to remove the disc pressing on my spinal cord. This is not a routine or easy surgery and there are risks. These have left me quite anxious and it is not helping my depression much either.
