Moving home
Hi I was wondering if anyone can help .. me and my husband are currently on uc and moving I with my daughter we only need to change our address as we won't be paying rent and won't need the housing element part .. my question is how do I prove the new address as we won't have a tenancy agreement or utility bills we also have a phone claim ..

It should be a simple change of address on your UC claim. I don't think they will ask for proof.
It would be a good idea to get onto the electoral register asap after you move.

If you are not going to be claiming the housing you won't need to provide proof of address.

Another question sorry to be a pain .. I need to hand my notice in on my property ..I currently receive the housing element but won't when I move into my daughters .. when do I notify them of new address ive read so many things thanks guys

You need to report your new address on the day you move or soon afterwards.
Because your circumstances on last day of Assessment Period are the most important, this might mean you won't get any Housing Element for that AP once you've moved.

We get payed on 21st of each month so when is best to contact them I need to give my landlord 2 months notice ..

UC isn't set up for future changes.
You need to report your new address after you move, ideally on the day or very soon afterwards.
You then won't receive Housing Element for that AP.

No it doesn't apply to handing in your notice. They don't need to know that.

Oh ok so I hand my notice in to my landlord .. then once I move in with my daughter inform them on day I move in .. I thought I would need to tell them that I'm handing in my notice.. even though I won't need the housing element once I move ..

No you only need to tell them after you've moved, your new address and that you have no rent liability.
They only need to know after you've moved, the UC system isn't set up for future changes and you are still eligible for Housing Element now even after handing in your notice.

So I definitely don't need to inform them I've handed in my notice only tell them the day I move in with my daughter and dont need the housing element.. I appreciate your answers

Yes you definitely only need to tell them after you've moved to your new address.
