I really need help and insight from people with different disabilities and I have heard this would likely be the best place to ask this.
the reason I need help is because I am autistic and I get quite annoyed that every piece of media I see with disabilities tend to be shown to an extreme extent and I wanted to change that so I started writing a game that allows people to play as different disabilities to then understand that it is not always to an extreme extent or to show people without the disabilities what it really is like but I know that if I am going to do this then I want to do it to the best of my ability.
so the help I need is as much insight as I can get into what its like with the 4 disabilities I have gone with and tbh I feel bad asking but I would rather try and ask to have a better chance at getting it right rather than guessing and plus if I can get this to work then I would plan to include more in a future project.
also for when I actually start making the game what I am going to keep secret is that for each disability that I use, I would like to donate some of the profits to charities and kind of split it between the 4 disabilities used which at the moment I am looking at including partial blindness, partial deafness, Tourette's and schizophrenia so i am sorry if i have stepped over any lines and if anyone does help and wants to withdraw their input then that is 100% okay i just wanted to try make sure i do this right.
