Hi, my name is craigmack903! ESA and Deprivation of assets
I need advice on esa and deprivation of assets
I recently declared I have 4127 in savings i previously declared when I first migrated to esa contribution based and uc that I had 7559 in savings esa demanding bank statements from 1st if august I was transitioning at the time I transferred 2k to my mum for my living expenses on 24 of Aug this year will esa see it as deprivation of assets I want to get the reduction of 30 a month removed it will help with bills etc I had building work carried out on my home 3 years ago and my mum paid contractors cash I cannot provide invoices or evidence for the work carried out what should I do

What will happen to my claim when dwp find out i have done deprivation of capital I have never dont those before im confused on what will happen to me i moved 2 large sums to my mums account this is for building work on my home she paid the builder with it and I have no proof or invoices for this work but it did happen

Im going to see my advisor tmrw to get all my statements checked before posting them to esa

The building thing i don't think dwp will consider it to increase my payments because I cannot prove this took place and esa will ask for invoices etc
