Andrews fall from grace.

What I still can't understand is why Ghislane Maxwell would assist Epstein so readily?
It's not just her either, there have been other examples, most recently the female doctor that was assisting Al Fayed.
Perhaps it's not really a man's world, just one of 'power' instead? I've experienced multiple women taking great delight in having power and control over a weaker male.

Maxwell was in a vulnerable position, after her fathers death —emotionally and financially—and Epstein, who projected wealth and influence, offered stability and access to politicians, academics, billionaires, and royalty. Being close to him gave Maxwell access into elite American social circles.

Good! I hope it is! I don't care if the whole system collapses as a result.

I like this poem I saw:
Plain Truth
Rich men hurt women and thought their money would cover it
Famous men hurt women and thought their fans would doubt it.
Powerful men hurt women and thought the system would protect them.
It did. For a while.
Now we're comparing stories.
Now we're saving screenshots.
Now we're speaking in full sentences without apologising for the volume.
This isn't drama.
It isn't gossip.
It's abuse.
And we're done pretending we don't see it.

Maxwell is a piece or work, and has been demonstrating that fact admirably.

Mandelson arrested now, about time.

If my lovely mum was still here she'd said 'it's a rum do'.

"Behind every successful man is a woman"
Of course it's a man's world and the only people who disagree are men!
1 -
If it’s a man’s world, the women I know didn’t get the memo.

😄 you've led a successful life and some women do - congratulations.

Nothing to do with me personally. I just meant the women I know haven’t lived as if men hold all the power. Experiences differ, that’s all, and plenty of women today wouldn’t agree it’s a man’s world anyway.
1 -
But I didn't say men hold all the power. Let's keep it simple.

If you read my comment carefully, I did not say that you claimed men hold all the power. I was saying that the women I know haven’t lived as if men hold all the power.
In my experience, most women don’t see the world as a ‘man’s world’, nor do they feel they need men’s permission to live their lives or that they have been held back in their careers because they are female. That was the sole point I was making.

Your words was my point. Let's keep it simple.

Nor have I said that. Goodnight MW.

Goodnight WhatThe x

I feel MW123's words were perfectly understandable; they disagree that it's a 'Man's world.' This is something I tend to agree with.
You are just disagreeing with semantics (the meaning of words) @WhatThe rather than the actual words used above. MW123 was just giving an example, tho this was about the women they know, & didn't say otherwise that this was their own personal experience.
