I applied for migration from legacy to uc through letter. Because I couldn't go to job centre and due to trauma anxiety and impairments and need support with calls. All contact was done by cmht whom there number was was system as my contact. Home visit was meant to be done but job centre kept sending messages to visit although on system I couldn't. So they closed claim and cpn had to make new one on my behalf due to there error on 30/4/25. Well case manager reviewed and sent for mandatory reconsideration on my behalf Because as evidence in my defence was overwhelming and I lost transitional protection.

This letter arrived saying they had made a mistake and my migration should not of been cancelled 6/10/25.

I was receiving this fortnightly 2 x 244.65.

The system was updates from basic uc to esa on 28/10/25. I received these figures in bank on 28/10/25

Can any one help me . How long will it take back pay to be received. I know £380 is for people who have transitioned through migration so there honoring transitional protection. What should I receive.

Hi @charlie79. Sorry no-one has been able to answer your question. I'm afraid I don't know how much you should receive but I believe backpay can take a few weeks to be paid. Have you managed to find an answer elsewhere?

Is it true though that if they admit it was there fault and should not of cancel original migration letter claim. As u see in letter they have a legal obligation to hour it and apply transitional protection to my payments
