New style esa & uc working

Hi I claim uc and new style ESA I currently work 8 hours a week, I have been offered a promotion at work to increase my hours to 12 hours and paid 16.66 which means I will be paid 199.92 a week, will this affect my new style esa

Hi @libbyh, congratulations on the promotion! Unfortunately, it's likely that this would affect your ESA as it's just above the permitted work limit of £195.50. There's some information about permitted work here:
You can still claim UC earning at that level. And if you're in the LCW or LCWRA groups you'll have a work allowance before your payments begin to be adjusted. There's some information about that on the UC website:
