Text to say I have been granted PIP

So I had to apply for PIP again as my existing PIP was about to expire, had the assessment and now received a text to tell me that I have been awarded PIP again, apparently I have to wait two weeks before the letter arrives to confirm what the PIP award is.

My existing award expires in mid December 2025 and I am on a motability lease, so worried if the award has changed I might lose my car, is there anyway to find out sooner, and will my existing award continue and then the new award follow on after that or does the new award replace the existing award?

You can ring PIP and ask, but they won't always give the information out over the phone.
