Scc universal credit
Ive been reading the scc conditions for health element of universal credit its really strict literally has to ne a constant disability from what im reading even severe mental health if fluctuating wont get it

So where others says if your a current lwcra you wont be reassessed does that mean forever ??? Ive been reading over and over and still dont understand

I think this more like the old SDP (severe disability payment). So the most disabled claimants will get extra money. Generally I do think that is a fair way to do it. But will need to see the exact criteria to work out whether it will be applied fairly or not.

I came across an item yesterday on YouTube by the justice journals. My understanding is that from April 2026 they will slowly be changing the goal posts and getting rid of LCWRA, bumping people up to LCA, and those in LCW to IWS. It’s all part of this getting people to try work without affecting their benefit, as if. It's totally wrong and I didn’t think they could do this but they are the government and DWP so suppose they can.
