Hi, When I first got my pip some lovely people who post on here helped enormously so hoping someone can again please. I was transferred from DLA to PIP and awarded high on both counts. I also have a soft touch review coming and it says are there any changes to your condition? well yes there are, I am really very much worse and no hope of ever getting better. Is it best to just tick a box and say no change to my already higher benefit that I get, or say yes, some changes I am very much worse now. I am housebound and a pensioner, and already feel my life is over but we keep going. 😐️

If you are a State Pensioner it will be light touch. I would mention your worsening condition personally even though you are on Enhanced rates.

Thank you Trevor, I have been reading of others similar situation to me but no change for them. I also read that if you say yes a change then it always starts the process of a new review, ie. home visit or interview. I was lucky and had a home visit when first awarded, it was daunting but the lady who was medically trained could see all my equipment I used. I am nervous to repeat a new review and start a new claim again. Thanks for the reply, so many others who feel really worried about things mine is nothing really. Thanks. 😶

If you receive enhanced rate for daily living and mobility then there is no point telling them your condition has worsened because you are already receiving the maximum payment so tell them your condition has worsened won't make any difference.
