Hi @chantry123, welcome to the community. Is it carer's element that you're receiving as part of your Universal Credit? If it is, usually this will stop and you'll start receiving your LCWRA amount instead.
The LCWRA payment is higher than what you'd be receiving for carer's element, so you shouldn't lose out on money but you can't have both at the same time.

Hi @chantry123, if you haven't already applied for carer's element, you wouldn't be able to claim it once you are receiving your LCWRA as they cancel each other out. If you already have it set up, it's likely it'll stop when your LCWRA payments start.

if you already receive carers allowance you'll continue getting it weekly but it'll be deducted from your UC

Yes, for LCWRA you'll receive £423.27 per month, and that will usually start up after a 3 full assessment periods ☺️
