Hi, I have a question, not sure if anyone can help but hopefully someone may be able to help.
So basically one of my family friends is suing the NHS because of malpractice, so long story short, when she was at work she started having chest pains so she was taking to the hospital by some very rude paramedics who did not help but when she got there all the did was give her a x-ray and said she had a trapped nerve and sent her home but over the next 12 hours she was still in a lot of pain and than she collapsed and once again paramedics come and it was discovered that she was having a heart attack and had been all day with early warning signs but by this time her heart had been damaged and she now has death syndrome where she could drop dead at any point so she sued them, for me rightly so. So she can not work and gets sick benefits and pip but the question is will she have to pay the money back for both from her compensation. Because I think she would have to pay the sick benefits back but I thought she would not have to pay PIP back also when I sue my ex boss for wrongful dismissal I was told at the time I would not have to pay back the DWP because it was settled out of court but if I went court I would have to pay them back but not sure if that is still the case still. Any advice will be gratefully appreciated.
