Copd and benefits.
I have copd, which leaves me breathless, which affects my activites on a daily basis.
If I was to get a job it is my belief that I would lose my job due to bing unfit to carry out my duties.
I only get LWC but I believe I should be getting LWCRA. I have spoken to universal credit and asked them to look at my claim again, they told me to report this in my journal which is now full of my continued changes in health.
They said to delete them and add my continuing conditions as they will stay on the system.
I need help on how i can get them to look at my claim again as my request isn't being taken seriously. Or any advice on what I can do.
Please help.

Hi, I also have copd, plus more. I had to have a wca. I was also on lcw but now in support group. I had to phone esa at the time in August this year ias my esa 50 I sent back in Jan 24 wasn't acted on. And I was due to go on to uc in Oct this year, so that's why I phoned them

You should write a Journal note, referencing the reported change in health and ask to be referred for a new Work Capability Assessment. You should receive a form in the post labelled UC50 or WCA50.
Unfortunately there are quite long waits at the moment for the medical assessment.
