Work Capability Advice ( Neew Account)
Hi
(I have had to open a new account on here) On my old account I wrote about under the heading Spine Stenosis and being refused.
My work put it in to be relooked at on the fact that they didn't look at the spine stenosis and went off a form i put in 8 years plus ago. I have received a phone call this morning wanting to know where i am with the pain and am i still waiting to see a spinal surgeon, I said yes i am still waiting and the pain is worse, it has moved up into my ribs. they said i would get a decision in the next 24 hours, 10 mins later i had a letter on my U/C journal saying i being refused. U/C say i'm fit for work but the consultant is sending me to the surgeon to see if/ when i need surgery on my spine, this is why i didn't appeal 8 years ago when it was just the back pain and anxiety, what more do i need to show i have problems with my spine, i got a doctor, consultant and a mri scan has prove and waiting to see a surgeon.
i got an appointment with my work coach tomorrow and going to appeal, just really fed up with it all with u/c making me feel like it's all in my head. i did get accepted for pip back in October for the same condition, i know they access it from different angles.
does anyone have any advice please.

Hi @Donmar, I believe this is your previous post Work Capability refused Spine Stenosis.
I'm so sorry you were refused UC. I'm glad you're going to appeal it and that you're seeing your work coach tomorrow. It's such a draining and frustrating process and sometimes their decisions don't seem to make sense. Hopefully you'll be successful after an appeal.
Here is some guidance on how to appeal .
