Housemate/ care
Just wondered if anyone has tried this

I haven't tried it and wouldn't.
"Care" isn't quite what they appear to be offering and there are all manner of things that could make it bad.
There's certainly a growing number of businesses trying to sell that (and very similar) services but I don't know anyone who has (or would) try them.
Just my two penneth

I need to find a carer or live in person from mid Jan. It is only in case I fall as I am very mobile around the house. They can have own independent living as the house is as professionally split into two homes.

After seeing the pictures of your pets and home I would like to apply for the job π

Lol! Okay if you decide you don't want the job, I get second dibs.

Seriously, though, my friend in Norwich had private carers. If you like, I can speak to him about how to go about this. It's a different area, but similar principles or even organisations perhaps.

Cristina gets the advantage here as she knows where I live.
I think my neighbour across the valley decorated part ofthe outside today and left me a bottle of Baileys for when I arrived home from the hospital.

@jonf yes indeed I have that advantage, meaning you know there's no way I can make it!! LOL! So we're back to @onlylonesome as first in line.
What a spectacular light display. Wow! I haven't put up any Christmas lights yet. I'm going to do that tomorrow. Thank you for your inspiration πππ

they are not my lights. Just hope that they donβt do the whole place. Not being mean but it is too bright when I need to sleep

Can you unplug them when you go to bed?

I forgot to add that they must like gingers and a grump like me lol. Or rather someone who is obsessed in recovering fully

That's a good thing! ππ Ok. I'll talk to my friend in Norwich this weekend. I'll post here in case someone else needs to know now or in the future. Hopefully someone else will post info here too.
