Esa and statements
Esa are asking me statements from last year my current account and accounts that I have now closed I explained to them in a letter that I took a loan from my mum to buy a car for 2k I paid cash no reciepts they are already reducing my payments by 30 as I told them I had 7509 in savings but I dont have that amount anymore it will take my bank a while to get these statements sent out to me so I will ask esa for more time

Esa only want to know about my accounts when I was claiming income based last year I will get my advisor too write letter about when I took loan and repaid it when I was getting contribution based after transition also what us the chance of my claim being stopped ?

Hi @craigmack903, if you've explained to them what's happened and it's an honest mistake, it's unlikely that they'd just stop your claim completely. You may have to pay back some of the money for going over the savings limits and it sounds like you're already doing this.
Are you still on any income based ESA or just contributions based?
