1st pip review
Good afternoon all.
A few months ago I was told my pip was coming to an end after 3 years and was sent a form to fill out. I did and sent it back. Today I've just received a text message saying my review is complete and they have sent me a letter.
Does anyone else have information on whether I have been successful or not and if anyone has had a different text after review.
And lastly if I am unsuccessful will the letter I receive show how to appeal.
Thanks.

Hi @MarkH75
That's a really standard text message that is sent out to everybody after a decision has been made so please try and not look too much into that!
If you're unsuccessful then you should have information on what to do next on your letter. If there isn't then here is the information on appealing a benefit decision☺️1 -
It looks like you sent in enough information and evidence for PIP to progress a Paper Based Assessment and you would not be contacted for a Phone Assessment. The decision letter is next. The text is generic. There are different text message depending on the way PIP progressed your assessment.
I can't comment on if you have been successful unfortunately, but the letter you receive will tell you how to Appeal. To appeal, a Mandatory Reconsideration is next, if no change, then a Tribunal Hearing. Hopefully it won't get to that!

Thanks for a speedy reply.
I'm ever so worried about waiting.
I'm not the only one in this boat and fingers crossed it goes quickly and I can see what the letter says.
Thanks.

Hi, thanks for your message. I am glad it's a generic thing as I was scared it meant I wasn't successful. And yes I gave very detailed information and that may be why I didn't get contacted for an assessment or I have not been successful. Fingers crossed it's not the latter.
I will do my best to update once I have the letter as it may help others.
Thanks again.
