PIP cancelled

I had been granted enhanced PIP until may 2026. I got sent form ad review which I sent in. I have now received a letter saying PIP been cancelled from now and I also have to take my motability car back. Without this vehicle I can't leave the house and form sent back in time. Its got me really worried as Without it will be housebound and the stress of this making me ill. I had to get support as it was to fill the form in.

@Womble74 Did you get the Review form back on time? Did you have a phone assessment? The Decision Letter should give a reason and/or detail the points you have lost. You can appeal the Decision starting with a Mandatory Reconsideration. If you call Motability they will let you keep the car while you start your appeal. Try Turn2Us benefit advisors for help with your claim. Have you any other questions, we will try and help? Just trying to understand what has happened here, what does the Decision Letter say if you don't mind me asking?

For original pip 2 years ago was given until may 2026 how can my review be late and stop my pip that was agreed previously this is supposed to be from may 2026 it's made me flare up so struggled to even get out of bed today. Will ring them first thing Monday

I was asking if you got your review form you filled in back to the DWP on time. I ask because you state your PIP award was cancelled. This has nothing to do with the length of your award you have mentioned in your latest post.

Did you have an assessment?

Does the Decision Letter tell you the points you have been awarded this time?

I have not had an assessment just states cancelled as form late but was posted 2 weeks before the deadline

That is what I thought had happened, that is why I asked those questions initially. Yes you do need to call them. Do you have any proof of posting back the Review form?

No proof I have got a copy of what I did will just have to wait until Monday already having more tests at hospital as think now might have something else so stress of this has really affected my health

Try not to worry. Your Review form may have got misplaced by the post or the DWP. You obviously need to call them giving the date you posted the Review form back. Let them know the stress of it all is making you ill. Hopefully something can be worked out.
