Come to My virtual house for christmas!
Hi!
My name is Emma. Due to family issues, this year ill be alone at Christmas.
Christmas can be a very lonely and isolating time if you don't have a family or a place to come home. Why not join me here for my "virtual Christmas"
Anyone can join me, we stay just in this chat. People of all faiths and backgrounds are welcome !
routine is as follows:
Christmas eve (24 Dec) 🎄
Welcome to My imaginary Home! As you walk in out of the raging snowstorm into my log cabin , you can hear the crackling from the warm log fire and smell the smell of cinnamon, spices and evergreen trees.
There is a warm light and plenty of comfortable places to sit. The tree has been decorated but I saved you a spot for a decoration of your choice.
So I welcome you with a warm smile as Christmas eve begins.
1900: Wash- Maybe take shower, maybe just wash your hands. Getting squeaky clean ready for pyjamas. I'll be putting on my Christmas jumper and some comfortable pyjama bottoms. Try to wear something comfy- even if its a just clean pair of socks.
1930: This is the time to prepare something nice. My family would typical have pizza. I'm tube fed so I'll be treating myself to a lollipop and a hot water bottle. Whether it's a cup of hot chocolate or a whole roast turkey- something to enjoy whilst watching the movie.
2000: The movie. My family watches Polar express. you can watch whatever is available. I tend to make comments whilst watching the movie so I'll be doing just that here. 2000 start on the dot if you want to be annoyed by my commentary.
Christmas day🎅:
10.00-12.00: Gift Exchange- This is where we can discuss gifts we revived, gifts we gave or even gifts we wish that we gave or received. Its not a competition. But if it was- I already won with the squishy poo I got my grandma. 💩
13.00-14.00: Christmas dinner. Christmas dinner isn't just about food. It can be if you want it to. Here we can tell Christmas cracker jokes and and have general chats about anything you like. We are all sat around the table, with each other. Christmas dinner will end at 1400.
1500- Kings speech. Love it or hate it- its a tradition.
1530- dessert. You listened to the kings speech so you deserve to break out the Christmas pudding. I'll be lighting a Christmas candle in its place. Let me know. What do you put on your pudding?
1600 onwards we will play it by ear x
I look forward to seeing you there ❤️
