PIP Reform
Well to Kier Starmer for overhauling the PIP system. With the new reform people with genuine visible and invisible disabilities that hinder their daily living will succeed now.

Hi @alasalaamaa, Hopefully it will be positive but I know lots of people are quite worried about what might happen with PIP. Scope will definitely be keeping a close eye on what happens after the Timms Review.

I have been refused PIP twice since 02/02/2027, and now I am waiting for the DWP to either change their decision or a appeal hearing to the FTT. The DWP decision maker rang me in September 2025 and said she will change the decision, since I have already appeared for a FTT appeal hearing earlier. I should score at least 8 points from the daily living activities of taking nutrition, communicating verbally, reading signs, dumb and words, and also engaging with people face to face, because I have dental issues when I was attacked on 04/08/2014, and I should have meet the threshold for the standard rate of the daily living component. The reform of Kier Starmer was very good, because a lot of People with genuine disabilities were refused PIP and some people even committed suicide, because the Assessment staff overlooked evidences from G.P who are medically qualified to give opinions on their conditions.
