I'm a catch ❤️
I'm guilty of focussing on what's 'wrong' with me, rather than the things I like and I know loads of you are the same, soooo what makes you a catch?
What do you like about yourself? Are you smart? Brave? Kind? Caring? Fun? Do you have a see-you-soon patootie?! Or hair that's fluffy like a puppy??
You don't need to listen to the song to answer but I'm sharing as it what inspired me to ask ❤️ 😅 It's only 1min40 long

That song is so cute @Biblioklept, thanks for bringing that into my life!
I think you're right, we're all guilty of being really down on ourselves a lot of the time. I don't know if I have a see-you-soon patootie 😂 but I was born with very shiny hair which I've always been grateful for 😁 and I hope I'm a kind and caring person too.

I reckon if I'd started a thread asking people for their flaws, there would be loads of replies with people able to list any number of things they don't like about themselves, but saying positives about ourselves is so hard and strange!
I think most of us grow up being told not to brag and to be humble and improve our 'faults', and socially, saying things you don't like about yourself is so much more accepted than ever daring to say something you like. It's a shame and no wonder people grow up crippled with low self esteem!! We're taught to focus on the negatives about ourselves! 😕
It also feels vulnerable to share things we like about ourselves because if others don't agree it feels uncomfortable and like rejection.
Here are some things I like about myself:
My eyes - I've always been told I have disney-like big dark eyes, and I've always liked them
My heart - I think I generally see or look for the good in all people and I'm yet to find someone I don't care about. I get easily attached to people so I get hurt a lot but I love that I love fully and completely
My mind - it may move at a billion miles a minute and I may not remember I've already for 6 drinks on the go or important dates but I like how it works, I like the way I see things, I like being able to consider different perspectives
I'm sure there are more but I hope others will start sharing their own too ❤️ It's okay to like things about yourself!!

That's very sweet of you to say @Biblioklept, you are a very considerate person too! I'm sure the people in your real life are grateful for your loveliness as much as we all are on here ☺️

You probably have to spend so long thinking about your faults because you have to look really hard to find any … it doesn't take any time to think about loads of good things ❤️
