Tea talk

Yorkshire tea bags are a little more expensive than PG Tips or Tetley but can often be found on offer which is when i buy in bulk and they always get my vote because you get a proper strong brew. In terms of biscuits its Jaffa cakes or Hobnobs all day long for me.

A mug of extra strong tea and a Regal Kingsize gets my vote.
1 -
Regal King Size that's a blast from the past @Chris75! That was a proper smoke!

I will say I have rather a lot haha I remember being a lad going haymaking with dad and grandad with cold tea in the glass corona bottles

๐คฃ I'll go looking then!
Thanks for all the postal order info ๐๏ธ That's just what I thought, instead of money dropping from the card, there will be a thing that they won't know what to do with. ๐

ยฃ18 odd a packet nowadays, so not something i would buy many of.

Just had yet another mug of tea, but have a cunning plan for later on today.
Have 2 litre vacuum flask filled with water, into which I cut up a lime. I want to see the difference drinking
that instead of tea during the day. ๐ฝ

Very often use a bit of lemon in a cuppa and when using honey don't use a metal spoon
0 -
Honey in tea, eh? You're just an adrenaline junky. ๐
0 -
Haha used to be back in the day life is a tad more sedate now
0 -
Bloody water the same as the tea! ๐ง๐ฝ
Oh well, beer it is then.

I can't do this water thing, I am back on the tea. I found drinking water throughout the day to be a miserable experience. My life is dull enough, without adding to it.
0 -
At least you tried haha ๐

I'm trying to drink more water and it definitely comes with it's annoyances ๐ but overall feel much more energised.
There's a Ringtons lady that visits the estate every so often. A nice treat but quite costly (bit too posh for me). I've been getting into flavoured tea's in the evening before bed. The Twinings sleep tea's I find relaxing. But they'll never measure up to a decent cuppa!

I think Tetley's is posh, I am strictly a Sainsbury's Extra Strong or CoOp 99 Blend kind of guy!

Pg tips man myself can we still call ourselves men
1 -
You may, @michael57, but only within the confines of your own home.
1 -
I will take that under advisement but will dismiss it
1 -
I'm not a tea drinker & have never been a water drinker, until about four years ago & now all I drink is water with a treat of couple of strong coffees in the evening.
I did try some of the fruit teas, after one cup, the bags just sit in a cupboard. I must throw them out!

Decaf tea only
Caffeine makes my bladder worse
