Typing ahead
Does anyone else have that problem when typing or writing?..Like where you've skipped a word or two without even realising you are doing it, and you can read it back to yourself and think, it doesn't make sense. It's quite annoying sometimes, because you sometimes press post and can't alter it. You like think ahead of your typing, you can see the sentence you want to type in your head and look back and can see a few words missing after it's posted😂Most annoying.

Oh yes! The other thing I do, because hands are a bit 'clunky', is somehow manage to switch from typing the next word to inserting it into the middle of a previous word?! **** is that about? Trying to read that back makes no sense either. Yes, very frustrating especially if you haven't noticed and post/send.

Yes im dyslexic I write straight from my mind is don't know where to put capital letters full stops it just well let's call it free fall writing it took years for my daughter to understand my texts very frustrating and embarrassing over the years for me at school and work you'd say surly I've learnt over the years Nope its like my brain takes noting in but when I speak and have conversations I am very knowledgeable crazy to me by my writing you'd think I was uneducated well I am with writing and maths oh and if you noticed I go off topics alot as well I would love to drive but I'd have to be a millionaire as I'd need thousands of lessons my mind goes to another universe when people tryinh to train me or educate me

Yes SwiftFox, it's very natural.
Please let's remember that unless one is a stenographer, speaking is far faster than writing and our thinking is considerably quicker than that.
Writing really isn't natural to us, I certainly had to learn how to do it!
The huge range of formats (I'm typing this into a phone) in which we write these days only complicates things!
It most reminds me of the various benefits of proofreading everything I write. I find that a helpful habit anyhow.

I'm a quick typer and get annoyed when the phone/tablet keyboard can't keep up with me 😂
On laptop I've retained the ability to touch type (taught 30 years ago at school in the US), so am even quicker there but that at least keeps up with me.

Yes, I dunno what happens or what I've clicked, but often it jumps, without me realising & my typing goes to the start, in front of what I've typed & it is annoying.
Also, I'll be tapping out a Whatsapp message & it sends part way through the message, that's with doing it on the laptop, not phone. 🤪
