Would you like to share your Online Community experience?
Hello lovely Online Community users,
I’m Sophie from Scope’s Stories team. We share lived experiences to raise awareness, influence change, and support Scope’s mission of disability equality.
We’re looking for people who’ve had a positive experience on the Online Community and who may feel comfortable sharing it with us.
- Have you made friends here?
- Has a conversation helped you feel less alone?
- Do you see this community as a safe space to share what matters to you?
If this sounds like you, please fill in this form (it takes about 3 minutes).
There’s no obligation beyond the form, and you’re always in control. We’ll only share your story with your permission, and you decide how much or how little to share.
Prefer not to use a form? No problem, simply reply in this discussion with a few lines about your experience.
Your story can make a real difference, helping others feel less alone and shaping a more equal future with disabled people.
If you have questions or want to share directly, email us at stories@scope.org.uk
Thank you so much!
Sophie

Next line… "We’re looking for people who’ve had a positive experience on the Online Community". Oh ok just those who've had a positive experience. Btw, overall my experience has been positive.

I'm glad your experience has been overall positive @MrHappy. The Stories team are looking for positive experiences but the online community team always want to hear if anyone has had a negative experience! You can email community@scope.org.uk, but hopefully you won't need to 😊

Because I'm neurodiverse, and unable to get a job, I've had more abuse on social media than I care to remember… Some of the stuff I've been called, including on here in the past is unrepeatable in civilised conversation.
