PIP Review Advice

Hello everyone!

Hoping to get a little advice regarding my PIP Review, I got the dreaded text this morning so the paperwork is due within a few days.

I have already started gathering my evidence together ready to include but my main struggle is going to be writing on the actual form.

The Review forms(if I recall correctly) have very little room to include all the details needed and due to pain my writing has become rather terrible and wondered if I could type the answers instead of attach them to the form(with headers etc showing which question they are the answer for)?

If so would I staple the extra pages to the form or just staple the extra pages together and include is separately?

Hi @Luchia - yes, certainly type out your answers just don't forget to put your name & National Insurance number at the top of these additional pages. i think they remove any staples so the pages can be scanned onto a computer, so perhaps a paper clip could keep these additional pages together & then be easily removed for scanning.

Never even thought of Paper Clips! That's even better than staples!!

Would it be worth including a list of all my home adaptions and devices that I need?

Some of it may come under 'aids' that you use, but there's no harm in mentioning home adaptations, for example I mentioned the new kitchen tap I got when I had a new kitchen installed as it just has a lever to move & easier for me with the problems I have with my wrists. If there doesn't seem to be a place for any home adaptations, just identify them at the end of your printed pages as this may fall under Section 6 - 'Further information.'

Also remember it's about the help you need even if you don't get that help.

Already have around 12 pages of evidence to send(Doctor stuff, Accessible Home Wet Room adaptions, Documents for why I needed to be moved to a bungalow, medications) etc and a very detailed letter from my partner so I'm hoping it's enough.

At my last Review I didn't have as much documentation and they did a paper based review so hoping for the same again.
