Just joined, so wanted to say hello and a bit about why. I have a 25 year old daughter with severe learning difficulties (she’s non verbal) and has some physical issues. She recently went into supported living during the week, home at weekends. I am now trying to prepare for her future for when I’m no longer around. I’ve been advised and have been looking into applying for Deputyship but am not in a financial position to do this at present, ( it’s the social worker fees that have really shocked me). Hence my post about appointees.
