I used to watch Little House on the Prairie! I've got the theme in my head now @Amberpearl.
I knew you'd have plenty of suggestions @Nightcity. Have you watched The Twilight Zone? The original series, not the 80s reboot. I feel like you'd like it as there are elements of horror.

Yes I can hear the theme tune now

The Twilight Zone is currently being shown on Legend at 8 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. They are currently on Season 4,which are 1 hour episodes as opposed to Seasons 1to 3 and 5 ,which are 30 minutes.
For the Hitchcock fans among us,Sky Arts are showing 2 episodes of his anthology series ALFRED HITCHCOCK PRESENTS on Monday to Friday from 7pm repeated the following morning and episodes of the sequel THE ALFRED HITCHCOCK HOUR on Saturday and Sunday mornings. They are definitely worth watching.

A favourite for me are igmar Bergman films. In particular persona. But all of them are great.
But also David lynch his earlier films.
Kristof kieslowski films.. are also great.
Silent films. From Murnau, Fritz Lang etc.. so much to see.

So many great films recommended! Does anybody know where to watch them? It's looking like a rainy one so probably the perfect film weather🌧️

maybe the lighthouse by robert eggers.. it is a very strange film shot in black and white. not sure it is a film to watch if one is a bit down.

bfi player has many cult and classic films worth watching, and you get a free 14 day trial I believe.
Paris Texas is another classic/cult film worth watching and if you liked Mullholand Drive, then I’d watch Blue Velvet

Thank you @alexroda, the 14 day free trial sounds excellent! I'll be having a look at that when I finish work😊 Is Blue Velvet similar to Mulholland Drive?
Which two if you don't mind me asking @Schildpad? I don't think i've seen any of his films yet but Midsommar has been on my list for ages!1 -
I’d say similar atmosphere and some similar traits.

Kieslowski - I watched the trilogy Three Colours (Blue, White, Red) and A Short Film About Killing and a Short Film About Love at the cinema In the 90's. I always enjoyed foreign language films and being short-sighted, the big screen suited me.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
