Speaking of poetry @Catherine21 there's something very poetic about this post. I hope you're doing ok. My best friend recently lost her dog too and she's having similar days to you. They're not just a pet. They're a member of the family π Have you been adding to your garden memorial anymore or has it been a bit too cold during the past few months?

Thank you. He wasn't very well for a little while and they had to make the tough decision but it was the right thing to do and he had a long life. I thought that might be the case with the weather. Maybe you can start thinking of your flower idea's ready for the spring.

@Catherine21 I mourn all my dogs. There's not a day that passes without me crying for them. I've done every conceivable memorial, I've had tattoos done, you name it. I don't think we ever find peace in their passing, No matter how long we have them we want them longer. I said before my youngest loss was just 5 years old and it destroyed me. I was like a zombie for three years after. I could barely lift my head. My oldest, just three years ago was 16 year's 6 weeks old. I feel lost without them all. My current boy is full of beans, he's a livewire ,but I miss having three dogs together so much. I've always had 2-3 at a time. I absolutely feel for you @Catherine21 π
I totally get it. Take care. X
