PIP assessment still wish audit but how did my assessor know?
hello just wondering if anyone can help, I had my pip assessment 3 weeks ago and it’s still with audit
my only question is the assessor said he would send it to audit then gets sent to dwp? But I thought these were random checks? So how would he know if mine was going to audit?

When your assessor says the report will be sent for audit before it goes to the DWP decision maker, they’re just describing the standard full process.
It's pretty standard for them to explain the full process so if the DWP doesn't receive the report immediately you don't worry about delays.

Welcome to the community @jam199035! I can see Emilee has answered your question above so I won't add anything further, but I hope it all goes well for you and you get the result you're hoping for soon. Best of luck!

As I mentioned, he doesn't know for definite. He will have been explaining the process, not guaranteeing that yours will be sent for audit.

Hi @jam199035 unfortunately we don't know the average wait time as there is a lot of backlog at the moment!
