Is it too late to stop fascism?

Unfortunately, if Nigel Farrightage and Deform UK (yeh) get in at the next GE, they want a US style health system in the UK, and would basically privatise the NHS.
Fortunately it'll never happen, even the far right Daily Mail reading loonies who vote Deform UK aren't stupid enough to give Nigel Farrightage enough votes to form a government (I hope)

Also, I'm fully aware it'll never happen but America SERIOUSLY needs to sort out their Gun laws IMO, there's been far too many shootings leading to mass loss of life.

The First Past the Post voting system is a gamble @SheffieldMan1976 If Labour and the Greens split the left votes, Reform may win.

There aren't enough reform mp's at the moment and farage never appears in parliament to say anything.

Farage rarely turns up to do his job as an MP @SwiftFox Probably too busy with his side hustles and media appearances…

And that is your answer Miss Marple.. They aren't qualified enough as a party. More than likely when the reform councilors begin to lose, he'll move on to form another shouting party.

I just hope that they will begin to lose @SwiftFox

They're already losing, councilors by the score are resigning.

UK leaving the ECHR?! Won't happen, even the extreme far right aren't stupid enough to vote that in.

@SheffieldMan1976 Even the Conservatives claimed they would leave the ECHR. (That doesn't mean much as we know how reliable politicians are when it comes to implementing what they claimed they would, but still…)

Judges interpret the law so I can't see how having a framework like the ECHR prevents them from making decisions that would otherwise not contradict the principles of the ECHR.
I would also look at all these plans, policies and rhetoric in the context of the rest of them. Changing a single piece of legislation may or may not be a good idea. Systematically wanting to change policies in the same direction, to channel money towards the rich while increasing inequality is something that only benefits the top 1%.

What gets me, is that the main reason I voted Labour at the last GE, was they said they'd look after the disabled, but no, they're trying to force us all to get a job! As a disabled/neurodiverse adult myself, I've lived with/met more other disabled people than I care to remember and in 95% of cases, going out to work for a day would literally kill them.

I understand what you're saying @SheffieldMan1976 Unfortunately, public services are strained. The answer from both Labour and the Conservatives to varying degrees was taxing the middle class more/decreasing help for the poor. Every decision has been somewhere along these lines. What could actually help is closing the loopholes and taxing the wealthy (both individuals and big corporations) more. But they are the ones who sponsor most political parties and control the media, so any party going against the interest of the wealthy won't get the media exposure and is unlikely to get elected.
