Hi, my name is johnbooth63! For years I have been on standard rate ...
For years I have been on standard rate mobility pip. I feel now that my ability to get around have worsened, and I would like to apply for higher rate mobility. But, I am afraid of losing what I already have, if I am reassessed. What should I do? should I apply, or not risk losing the standard rate I receive already.

Welcome @johnbooth63. I would say, if your circumstances have worsened, then it's worth doing but completely understand the worry this causes. It's for you to decide at the end of the day, but I'd see it difficult for them to justify removing you given the circumstances you've mentioned. If you do go, just make sure you've got a good amount of backing evidence and information so you've got the best possible chance of this higher award.
