Can you remember..

I definitely draw the line at Old Spice. Crazy that recently I've seen adverts aiming it at teenagers and 20 somethings. It'll always be an old mans aftershave to me.

I liked both Brut & Old Spice, I actually have a bottle of OS. 😆 What about Karate? The guys will remember that one, I should think. I often wear aftershave, used to use my dad's, as not sweet like perfume. A guy I fancied came over when I was in the pub years ago, he said you smell nice, Jess, I didn't have the heart to say it was aftershave! 🤣
I did an about turn to follow a guy through town once, as I got a waft of Aramis, my favourite. Sad! 😁

Aramis - Jessie I worked with a guy who wore this and it had the same effect on me 😁 easily my favourite too.
I wear men's deodorant so it's great to hear about your preferences.

Definitely Trumpton, it was a trilogy of stop motion animated shows set in a fictional County called Trumptonshire, there was Trumpton itself, Camberwick Green, and arguably the best one was Chigley, which was the one with the Biscuit Factory.
All the voices and songs were done by the late Brian Cant, who also presented "Playaway" on BBC2 back in the early 80s.

Brilliant! Have googled it now as couldn't understand why I couldn't really remember Camberwick Green much and not Chigley at all 🙄😬😅. All makes sense now seeing the timeline, I was only 2/nearly 3 when Camberwick was released and 'grown up' (6 and at school) when Chigley came out that I don't remember at all. Didn't recall Brian Cant either but do now I've seen his face and loved Playschool.

Would you believe that only one series of each of Camberwick Green, Chigley and Trumpton (ALL towns in Trumptonshire), were ever made - 13 programmes of each !!
I remember Brian Cants voice as if it was yesterday… "Pugh, Pugh etc etc " as the firemen got on to their truck with Captain Flack ..

Yeah, back when I was young I wanted to be a Fireman when I grew up based on watching that, well they never did attend any actual fires, and always did that "concert" (same tune every week) at the end of each episode.

👍️ Nice one! I was glad my dad never wore it & I never bought him it, but I would have probably nicked that too, a gordeous scent!
I wear men's deo too, Nivea Black & White 😆

Who remembers these from the 80's? The gum tasted like germolene and you get a smiley face tattoo with them.

This is up there for me!

My Grandma was a clippy and had a machine like that. My Grandfather drove the bus. When I see bus drivers having to do everything now it doesn't seem at all fair. Having two crew per bus was better altogether.

Our fizzy pop van was Corona.
