Sometimes things can get lost when the words are written rather than spoken.

I've no issue with being ignored or disagreed with it's the unwarranted personal attacks that I find really upsetting. When someone doesn't like my alternative viewpoint or they don't like factual information on how the system works because they disagree with the system.

So occasionally I do get personally attacked (happened recently) with behaviour/words attributed to me which are simply untrue.

It's ironic being criticised for certain behaviour when the critic is displaying exactly the same behaviour towards me, but apparently I'm the only one in the wrong 🤷🏼‍♀️

Thankfully it is rare, but upsetting all the same however Scope is a lovely forum overall 😊

Same if someone disagrees thats fine but ive noticed some comments have been totally uncalled for i feel i have grown so much because of this group once where i would of fired off i step back we all have different views but when its dismissing people because you dont agree its not done in a healthy way certain words used for example idle using the word idle is not acceptable to me and many more views it not the same as being easily offended its a direct attack on someone who struggles to do what society asks 9f them and labelling them idle is totally wrong and very upsetting

Since I became disabled, I've grown broad shoulders, had to. Whether in real life or online, being treated/spoken to badly, called names, ridiculed, laughed at not with & threatened. I've found it's best to ignore & move on, life is hard enough without having someone or something drag me down further.

Yes i umderstand where your coming from but alot of us have been told our opion doesnt matter or we are too much so withdraw even more in the real world i wrote this post as me personally i felt a few people was commenting alot on my views which is fine but its not fine when it comes to being sarcastic and sometimes rude i can go back on many posts and see its the same people i dont comment on thier posts or belittle them on anyway so im defending myself as i said we can debate disagree without making it personal and making the person feel silly for trying to express themselves should be a safe place

Why not use the report function if you don't like a comment? We can't outlaw sarcasm, thankfully!

I've noticed it's always the same few who like to stick together on here, with a lot of backslapping by thumbing up and hearting each other's comments.

Some of us like each other and try to see the best in people.

They only see the best in themselves while being nasty towards others.

michael57, there's a big difference between nice people showing support of one another and a bunch of backslapping trolls.

I wonder if the usual suspects will thumb up or heart your comment? Or will they not do because of what I've now said? It'll be interesting to see what happens, could go either way.

sadly theres a group of people in this forum that like to intimidate other users and do act like trolls.

I have blocked some of them and personally I’d encourage you to do the same.

I guess you don't remember your first response to one of my comments then? Rude and juvenile - very offputting.

Was it the time where I told you to knock it off because you were picking on one of the members on here?
