PIP keep ringing me after review
Hi everyone, I had my first ever PIP review after months of anxiety I have gone from standard daily living to standard daily living and enhanced mobility even though I used the same evidence as my original claim (go figure) anyhow my review is complete and on my award letter its dated from the date of the decision (12th feb)
My concern is every couple of days after PIP has been trying to ring me, I only noticed yesterday because theyre ringing my old number which is in a different phone.
Now of course typical luck I would notice on Friday after they close so oh...another week of stress again
Is it normal for them to ring constantly when a review is completed? Has anyone had this before? I am looking forward to another weekend of no sleep
Thank you all
Sarah

Hello @cherriuz and a warm welcome to the community.
It’s not uncommon for the DWP to make follow-up calls after a review, even if you’ve already received the decision. Sometimes they just need to clarify a detail, for example when a change (if there has been one) began, or to confirm bank details.
It’s hard to say exactly why they’re calling in your case, so the best thing to do would be to give them a call on Monday to check. That way you’ll know for sure and can hopefully put your mind at ease.
I hope you’re able to get some clear answers tomorrow.

Check the letter does it say we might owe you money?
This could be a valid reason for the calls.
