My PIP payment is late
I was due to have my PIP Payment on Thursday 19th February, but it never arrived. This is the first time I’ve ever had a late payment in my 4 or 5 years of claiming PIP. I’m due an overall payment of £749.80. I claim the highest rate.
What do I do?

Hi @danielbryan94 - I'm sorry this has happened. You'll need to ring the PIP enquiry line which unfortunately is only open weekdays from 9am -5pm. It's 0800 121 4433 & it's best to ring as soon as they open to hopefully avoid a long wait.

are you under review at all?

As far as I'm aware, no I'm not. I've also just had a little look in my bank account, and PIP only just paid me £110.40 instead of the whole £749.80.

Sorry, that was a mistake. The £110.40 is to do with the Attendance Allowance that was owed us. I filled in a form after mum's passing that the DWP sent to me about possibly claiming an Attendance Allowance payment that my mum was due.

Hi @danielbryan94, sorry to hear this has happened to you. As chiarieds said above, it's well worth giving the PIP enquiries line a ring to see if they can explain things. Especially as this seems so out of the blue for your claim. Hopefully it's just an error and it's an easy fix ☺️

Hi, Rosie. I rang PIP about it on Monday, and they said that my PIP payment didn't come through because my PIP appointee (which was my mum) had passed away. They were told through the "Tell Us Once" thingy after my dad filled out a form. I never knew that they did that. My dad will be becoming my PIP appointee. We're going to have someone come over so that my dad can fill out a couple of forms and stuff. Will my PIP be reinstated once it happens?

Hi @danielbryan94
I'm sorry for your loss, yes once your dad has filled out the forms and registered as your new appointment your PIP should be reinstated0 -
I was also wondering if my PIP that wasn't put into my bank account this week will appear once my PIP is reinstated.
