Esa paper based assessment
Hi, so i lost my job in August i applied for esa no issues they send me the esa50 form which i fill out send it, they wanted me to travel to the assessment centre which i wasn't able to do so i asked for a phone assessment then they cancel the day of the assessment due to illness they leave me on red for a week so i called maximus they gave me an appointment time i think it was a week later i had a mental breakdown full on didnt want to be here anymore & just really really struggling i got sent to my doctor they did a note for me and did a safe guarding plan
my husband called esa and requested a paper based assessment
has anyone had any experience?
Ive had very little help with this process and just want to pull my hair out i do receive pip

You can request a paper based assessment from Maximus, but the assessment provider don't have to agree.
I'd suggest your Husband contacts Maximus with the request as I'm not sure if ESA can help, as your case is with the assessment provider who make the decisions about the assessment.

Thank you, my husband contacted maximus first they told him to contact esa so we did and they put the request in for the paper based assessment
