Counciltax has more than doubled
Got email saying adjustment has been made and now my council tax has more than doubled from £23 a month to £53 a month ,I am on lcwra and pip , is this normal?

Council Tax Reduction is decided on at a local level and each local authority has different rules for this meaning it's very hard to advise on individual cases from here.
You could contact a local welfare rights organisation who will be familiar with the local rules, to check your bill is correct.

As Kimi87 said above, it's well worth speaking to a local organisation to see if they can look into things for you as they'll know what the rules are like in your area. Hope you can get some clarity on the situation soon.
