Did you know March 8th marks International Women's Day?
This year marks 115 years of collective action, advocacy, and progress towards gender equality.
One point the video below highlights is that gender inequality often shows up in everyday life through stereotypes. Stereotypes can affect all of us in different ways, sometimes in ways we don’t immediately recognise.
Have any of you ever experienced (or challenged) a stereotype in your everyday life?
We’d love to hear your thoughts or experiences below.
Below I’ve shared a short video from IWD that explains the purpose of International Women's Day.
