my council tax has gone up this year according to my online account. Haven’t received the letter yet.

Do I inform universal credit or do they get informed automatically ?

I qualify for full amount being paid.

Council tax has nothing to do with UC.

Council Tax & Council Tax Reduction is administered by your local authority.

Universal Credit do not need to know anything about CT.

Council tax told me to ask it my state pension , (which I am now on, but not received a penny for 7 weeks, )

Is inclusive of state pension, as we are mixed age Couple and still get UC, because of this ,although slightly reduced. Sooo....... Confusing I know

State pension doesn't have a council tax reduction policy, unless you have a wet room.

Yes, we have a wet room,

    We are mixed age couple.

My ESA stopped 7 weeks ago, As I was moved onto state pension .we were getting UC, slightly reduced, as my partner was in support group on ESA, and apparently we qualify for UC,as she 5 years younger than me.

not had a penny of state pension yet, in 7 weeks, and all the ,go online, ringing and talking to machines, having figures ,codes etc thrown at me, on phone for hours, and getting nowhere .

Apparently we qualify for reduced rate council tax.

    But 🤷🤷🤷

Would you benefit from talking to a local welfare rights organisation?

You have to claim state pension, they won't tell you. I don't know it is with council tax with someone of pension age and the other not. I do know you get a few quid off each month off your council here for having a wet room, it's not a lot. You probably need advice.
