Not reported earnings on UC
someone please help me, I’m frightened I’m going to get in big trouble.
I claim carers allowance for caring for my partner, we also get UC and he gets esa.
For the last 12 months I have every 3/4 weeks beefing do a trail and I get paid on average around £65, because it’s so little I honestly didn’t think I’d have to declare, but I’ve just added it all up and it’s around £950 in the 12 months and I’m sure I gave my ni when I first started, so now I’m panicking cause it’s almost the end of the tax year.
What should I do? I don’t get any pay slips, just a payment into my bank, If I put in a change of circumstances are they gonna start going through my bank accounts my son has bills in my name and sends me a lump sum, so I’m scared they think this is some extra payment I get.

It is best to declare this, as soon as you can. It is a small amount and may not impact you. Let them know.

Hi,
Given your circumstances, I am fairly sure the Work Allowance will apply to your joint account.
For this reason, £65 a month will not make any difference to your UC payments. There will not have been any overpayment, so nothing to pay back now.
If you do declare it now then I would expect them to ask for bank statements to confirm, and they may ask about other transactions such as those from your son. Just be honest with them and there should be no problem with that.
