Light touch review.
Who gets a light touch review with an AR1 form or an AR2 form. Our son got higher rate for both care and mobility. His award said the following, awarded from 12th July 2017 for an ongoing period.
It then explains about making sure your pip is right: we will contact while you’re getting pip to see if your needs have changed and to look at the amount you get. This will be after 18th May 2027.
So I assumed this would be a light touch review with a possible AR2 form, however after doing some research I think it might be an AR1 form. Does anyone have any personal experience of renewals and which forms. Also when could I possibly typically expect the forms. Many thanks.

The PIP assessment guide states at para 1.11.4
"Claimants with an ongoing award and due to have their award reviewed at the 10-year point are sent a shorter award review form (AR2)."

Thanks so much for the above, I have printed it out and highlighted the areas that seem to be appropriate to our son’s situation.
