Pip question

hi everyone

I did a video assessment on the 9th March 2026 on the 13th March DWP said a decision was made and a letter was sent out . It’s the 20th of March I still have not received any letter or any text msg . Someone said check on the gov proof of benefits but there was nothing there and it said we don’t support pip yet

I would like to ask you guys is this normal or would it have been rejected

I forgot to mention

First it was supposed to be a paper only assessment

Then they changed themselves to a video Assessment

The Gov “Proof of Benefits” page should show PIP awards. I haven’t heard of it say that they don't support PIP, but that doesn’t mean you haven’t been awarded it.

Did you call DWP on 13th March and they told you a decision had been made? That’s quite a quick turnaround, from an assessment on the 9th to a decision on the 13th, although it can happen.

They usually advise that decision letters can take up to two weeks to arrive, so it may still be on its way. If you’d rather not wait, you could give them a call to ask for an update.

I have called the Pip a quiet line and they answer instantly within minutes they all confirm the same information, decision made and posted out but are unable to advise on the decision.
I am thinking of the possibility they may have made some admin error along the way . I am going to have wait until the decision letter arrives

Its unlikely to be an admin' error on their part.

My partner had a very quick and unexpected paper based decision and it was in his favour.

You will soon receive your decision letter.

Recieved my decision letter and I was refused in fact just given 4 points . I think I will do an appeal and will try and upload my letter on here , can someone explain on how to do a mandatory appeal

after a disappointing refusal I today got a call from the mandatory reconsideration decision maker who sounded very polite .

He asked if I wanted to add anything else

I said that other then new supporting evidence I submitted my conditions are getting worse day by day .
the decision maker

He said within 10 days you will get decision that was at 5pm

Someone suggested checking on gov . Uk benefits proof and at 7pm I just had a message

“You cannot get proof of your benefits using this service “

“Your benefits are not available on this service yet “

does this mean I again I have been refused or is too early considering I spoke to him at 5pm

it’s been almost 10 days since I spoke to the Decision maker who said you will get a decision within 10 days Today I called pip MR line and they said

As of yet no decision has been made and it’s still with the Decision maker …

Is this normal ?
