Can anyone recommend a cheap colour Printer w/ cheap Ink?
I ideally want a Canon or HP Printer, but I'd rather not pay about £35-40 for the Printer and then the same price for the Ink cartridges.
So can anyone recommend anything? Don't suggest eBay, I don't trust second hand hardware.

Compatible ink cartridges are usually fine & much more affordable.

I have a cheap Epson printer/scanner combo that I bought for about £30 in a supermarket sale over 10 years ago.
I was shocked by the price of Epson ink so tried some cheap ones from ebay and found that they worked perfectly well for my needs. (I don't print high quality photos). Costs me under £5 for a set of 4 non-genuine ink cartridges including postage. I have no idea how they can sell them so cheaply, but I've been using them for at least 8 years now and never had any problems.

Buy a cheap Epson and compatible Epson ink cartridges in bulk - they work out much cheaper.
I bought an Epson XP-2200 printer at about £30 brand new from Ebay and 20 cartridges at less than £15 - they lasted me over 4 years in total !!
