Hi, my name is BIGJB!
Hi. I am new to this group and was wondering do you automatically get your PIP money backdated after review?
I was told after a face to face assessment my award would go up, it did, however I was told I wasn't due any backdated money.
I have just recently posted back my review forms because my current award was due to end. Please may I ask if my award goes up again following my review how far does the backdated money go back?
Is it just from when your review started ?
Thank you in advance

It's not automatic as the DWP Decision Maker has discretion to decide when to award the higher amount from, which would be either when the review started or the date of the decision.

Kimi87,
Thank you for clearing that up for me. If honest I find the whole process very very stressful, especially filling out the forms. However I have managed and now just have to wait.
PPlease Enjoy the rest of your day
